- DAMASCUS - is a global observational study that is further investigating the different treatment pathways for diverticulitis. Currently, the extended recruitment of centres is taking place. If an Austrian centre is interested in including patients here and entering them into the RedCap system over 6 months of follow-up, please contact: irmgard.kronberger@i-med.ac.at

 

- GoodbyeHartmann - an international observational study that is examining emergency surgery on the left colon and the associated stoma and anastomosis creation during primary surgery in more detail. Patients are still being recruited until 31 May 2021.

- EAGLE - Safe-anastomosis Programme in Colorectal Surgery - an international, multicentre, cluster-randomised service/improvement trial of the 'ESCP Safe-anastomosis Quality Improvement Intervention' to reduce anastomotic leakage after right hemicolectomy and ileocoecal resection. Any hospital or surgical department performing elective and/or emergency colorectal surgery can participate.
